The Delaware Ballet is the area’s oldest nonprofit ballet company, funded by individual and corporate donors.

Though centered in classical ballet, Delaware Ballet diversifies itself by performing contemporary pieces.  Most importantly, Delaware Ballet prides itself on excellence.  We are an independent company, fielding members through auditions and employing the services of guest artists.

Outreach

Delaware Ballet is committed to spreading the love of ballet throughout Delaware.  Each year we visit a number of schools and nursing homes to perform for groups who may not be able to see one of our productions.  We also perform sneak previews (“School Shows") of our shows for schools and other groups during the day, before our performances are open to the public.  It is very important to us that we are involved in the community and serving as true “Ambassadors of the Arts!"
