Daily State News
The Daily State News is a seven-day print and e-newspaper serving Kent and Sussex counties in Delaware for more than 70 years.
- We support every American's First Amendment rights and encourage and assist citizens in exercising those rights responsibly.
- We report the news in print and online to provide the information citizens need to make their own intelligent decisions about public issues.
- We also offer the business community resources to help them successfully market their businesses and services.
In addition to reporting news and information and the marketing resources we offer, we also support our local community with sponsorships and partnerships for charitable fundraising organizations and events, in addition to community events. Our goal is to help our community become a better place to live and work.
We have won numerous awards from the Maryland-Delaware-DCÂ Press Association for our events, community contributions, news and design work. Plus, we have been recognized by the local community with several awards including the Outstanding Partnership Award from both the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce and Kent County Tourism, the City of Dover Mayor's Art Award and the Community Partner Award from Delaware State University.
In conjunction with several community partners, we produce Dover Comic Con, the Citywide Black History Celebration and Excellence in Education. We are also well-know for the W3 What Women Want Fest, Thrive Dover Senior Life after 55, and the Stars of Delaware. You can find information about out events at DelmarvaEvents.net.
