The Mission of the National League of American Pen Women is to support and promote creative excellence and professional standards among women in the arts. The National League of American Pen Women was founded in 1897. Today it is one of the largest cultural organizations of women in the world, with membership of over 5,000.
The Diamond State Branch was chartered in 1950 by Marguerite du Pont Boden. The branch holds monthly meetings from October thru May, providing opportunity for its members to experience enrichment, enjoy fellowship with other writers, musicians and artists and interact in the cultural support of other art and community endeavors.
