Chambers House Nature Center at White Clay Creek State Park
The Friends of White Clay Creek State Park staff the Nature Center on weekends from May 1 through October 31. Open on selected days in November, The Chambers House Nature Center has a resource library available to park visitors. While you are at the Nature Center, you can check field guides, nature activity guides, and read books on the local natural resources. On the first floor, there is an exhibit room complete with a hollow tree to crawl in, a perfect spot to read a nature story book from our resource library. Enjoy free outdoor concerts at the bandshell in June, July and August.

Admission
Park entrance fees are in effect from March 1 through November 30. Daily entrance fees are $3 for Delaware residents and $6 for non-residents. Annual passes may be purchased for $27 (residents) or $54 (non-residents).Contact
Parking
The Carpenter Recreation Area entrance is located about two miles northwest of Newark on Delaware Route 896. The Chambers House Nature Center is located on Creek Road, north of Hopkins Road.
