All aboard for Train Day! Whether you're a lifelong railfan or just looking for a family-friendly day out, Train Day has something for everyone, including:
Rides on the Auburn Valley Railroad - Climb aboard our 1/8-scale coal-fired and diesel trains
Interactive Train Activities – Fun for kids (and kids at heart) featuring a Gauge 1 live steam layout hosted by Aikenback Live Steamers
Entry to the Marshall Steam Museum – Including the world’s largest operating collection of Stanley steam cars, special exhibits and gift shop
Model Train Displays – Marvel at NorDel Model Railroad Club HO-scale layout as well as our working 1930s Standard gauge display inside the Marshall Steam Museum
Special Railroad Displays – Featuring hands-on activities, showcase of vintage railroad tools and more
Delicious Bites – Including fresh popcorn from our vintage popper, On the Roll food truck (cash and credit card) and Woodside Farm Creamery (cash only)
Admission: $15/adult (age 13 & up), $10/child (age 1-12), infants & members are free
No advance registration required. Tickets available at entry (we accept cash and credit cards).
