2026 Positively Dover, African American Festival
The "Positively Dover" African American Festival is an annual rain or shine, family fun, free, and accessible event on its 36th iteration dedicated to the celebration of African American heritage, arts, and the community.
The Festival welcomes people of all ethnic backgrounds to share in cultural and artistic experiences. Hosted on the historic Legislative Mall, we draw people from across the Mid-Atlantic region to engage in a comprehensive showcase of culture. The event is curated to promote music, entertainment, vendors, food, interactive fun, education, information, and positive family values through the exhibition of performing and visual arts.
