Holiday Classics Series: Presented by DSU + the Biggs

• Thursday, December 17 through Saturday, December 19
• The Schwartz Center for the Arts, Dover, DE

Celebrate the season with three days of beloved holiday films at the Biggs! The Holiday Classic Film Series brings together timeless favorites, family fun, music, and a little holiday magic, with each day exploring a different side of the season.

Part I: Transformation & Holiday Spirit

Begin the series with stories of second chances, reflection, and transformation. Last Holiday and It’s a Wonderful Life explore what happens when we reconsider what matters most and embrace life, community, and the people around us.

Part II: Family Fun & Sing-Alongs

Bring the whole family for a playful day of holiday favorites you can sing along with! Join Kermit, Miss Piggy, and friends for The Muppet Christmas Carol, followed by the imaginative world of The Nightmare Before Christmas. Singing along is highly encouraged!

Part III: Family & Love

Close out the series with two classics celebrating the humor, warmth, and sometimes complicated nature of family and love during the holidays. Enjoy the nostalgic comedy of A Christmas Story followed by the music, romance, and holiday spirit of The Preacher’s Wife.

Come for one film, spend the day, or join us for all three days as we celebrate the many ways movies have helped define the holiday season across generations.
