Survey of Bookbinding Techniques
Have fun exploring the art of bookmaking in this three-part series! We’ll begin with Japanese Stab Binding, then create origami accordion and star books using beautiful, marbled paper made in class. In our final session, we’ll give a hardbound book new life by repurposing it with fresh pages and exposed decorative stitching. These handmade books are perfect for journaling, sketching, or giving as unique, thoughtful gifts. Additional $15 material fee. Ages 18+
Presented by New Castle County Art Studio.
