Longwood Gardens
One of the world’s great gardens, Longwood’s story is one of legacy, innovation, and stewardship.
Longwood Gardens is the living legacy of Pierre S. du Pont, inspiring people through excellence in garden design, horticulture, education, and the arts. The Gardens are an expression of all du Pont found inspiring, meaningful, and beautiful. From the intricate fountain systems to the meticulous gardens to the architectural grandeur, awe-inspiring discoveries wait at every turn.
Over the years, Longwood Gardens' performance lineup has expanded significantly from a handful of events in the summer to an impressive year-round schedule that includes local artists, Grammy-award winning musicians, world-renowned dance ensembles, and a host of interpretive exhibitions and displays that add to Longwood’s allure.
