Wooden Trinket Boxes

Open to ages 7 to 12
Turn a simple wooden box into a personalized keepsake! Young artists will explore color, patterns, and creative design as they paint and decorate their own miniature wooden trinket boxes. Using acrylic paints, sparkling gems, and fun embellishments, each child will create a special place to store their favorite little treasures. All materials included!
About the instructor: Christin Guthrie Smiertka
I’m a pet portrait artist who loves painting and drawing, and I especially love helping kids discover their creativity through art. I’ve loved art my whole life! I’m originally from Virginia, where I studied Art History, and have called Delaware home for over 10 years. I also run my own Etsy shop. My classes are fun, encouraging, and sometimes messy! My background as a paraprofessional inspired my love of working with kids, and I want every artist to feel confident.
