The Power of Love: A Celebration of the 80s (CoroAllegro's 40th Anniversary Gala)
CoroAllegro arrived on the Delaware scene in 1987. It was the decade of headbands, shoulder pads, leg warmers and acid-washed jeans. The music of Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Madonna and Prince was blaring out of Walkmans and Boomboxes while Les Misérables and The Phantom Of The Opera were reinventing the Broadway stage. Put down your Pac-Man, Rubik’s Cube and Nintendo games and come to CoroAllegro’s 40th Anniversary Gala at “The Baby Grand” at The Grand Opera House as we take a nostalgic look back at the music, clothes and dances of the 1980s and celebrate four decades of making music in Wilmington, Delaware! Don't miss this night of fabulous music, food and drink! It will be “totally gnarly dude!”
