Advanced Techniques with Alcohol Inks
Local artist Nina Yocom will guide students on more in-depth techniques for working with alcohol inks
Students will learn how to use different drying tools including hot, warm, and cool air flow to manipulate the inks on synthetic paper. She will work with students hands-on to create layered effects and how to work with stencils, acrylic painters and fine liner pens to create mixed media pieces. Finally, she will review how to reproduce alcohol ink designs as greeting cards, wall hangings, mugs, magnets and more, as well as ways to frame finished paintings. Learn more about Nina on her website.
