You Can Sing! (Creative Aging)
Do you love music? Have you ever wanted to sing? This is a friendly and welcoming group voice class where you can learn and develop your singing voice. The sessions are designed to be fun and educational while learning more about your individual instrument. Join us as we develop our creativity, control, and confidence through 8 weeks of classes, ending with a final showcase in the 9th week to celebrate each participant’s musical journey.
This free course is offered for adults aged 55+, and all materials will be provided. Registration is required and limited to 12 students.
Please note: When you sign up for the first class on September 28, you’re registering for the entire course. The class will meet the same day & time each week on Mondays, September 28 - November 23, from 10:30am-12:30pm. Details on the culminating exhibition and reception will be discussed in class.
This program is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on DelawareScene.com.
