October Symphony Concert
This first concert of our celebratory season begins with spectacular brass. Bruce Tychinski, Professor of trombone at the University of Delaware, will be joined by fellow UD Music Faculty, the University of Delaware Trombone Choir, and the Newark Symphony Orchestra brass section in the Vienna Fanfare by Richard Strauss as well as Aura for solo trombone and brass by Anthony DiLorenzo. Daniel Bates, principal oboist of the National Philharmonic Orchestra, will be featured in the joyful Oboe Concerto in C major by Mozart. We close with Tchaikovsky’s beloved Symphony No. 5. You won’t want to miss this triumphant concert!
