Rug Tufting
3 weekly sessions starting Saturday, October 3, 2026 · 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Open to ages 15 to 110 A 3-week course. One ticket covers all 3 sessions: Sat, Oct 3 · 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Sat, Oct 10 · 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Sat, Oct 17 · 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM In this hands-on class you'll learn to use a tufting gun to punch yarn into a stretched backing and watch a flat sketch turn into a soft, textured rug you made yourself. We'll cover frame setup, gun handling, color planning, and finishing techniques like trimming, gluing, and backing. All materials, tools, and safety gear are provided, along with plenty of guidance as you go. Come with a simple design idea or use one of ours. Leave with a finished piece, a new skill, and a good reason to come back. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting fuzzy.
