Dogfish Head Poetry Heritage Award Reception
Join The Delaware Poets Almanac and Dogfish Head Craft Brewery for a special evening celebrating 20 years of poetry, community, and the literary heritage of the First State.
We’ll gather at the Dogfish Head Milton Brewery to honor Michael of the Le, winner of the 2026 Dogfish Head Poetry Heritage Award for his poem “Out of Focus,” along with this year’s semifinalists.
Created in recognition of the original Dogfish Head Poetry Prize and its remarkable 20-year history, the Poetry Heritage Award celebrates the poets who continue to shape Delaware’s literary landscape. The original prize welcomed poets from Delaware and throughout the broader Mid-Atlantic and East Coast, building a legacy that this commemorative award is proud to recognize.
