Peace Pole Ceremony and Poetry Circle
The event will start with a Peace Pole installation. We will also have a mini art battle in the store backyard at the same time as the poetry circle.
CALLING ALL POETS! Search through your portfolios and bring out your best peace-themed poems. The poetry circle will feature an “open mic” format for participants from all backgrounds to share their work. The Finist & The Owl, Bellefonte Bookery is an artistic space located in the Bellefonte neighborhood where you can nourish your soul and regenerate your spirit. The small local community includes a cafe and antique store nearby. We will also commemorate the dedication of our new peace pole at this event co-sponsored by People to People Delaware and the Academy for Peace.
