Girls Can Do Anything Conference

One Village Alliance will host the 15th Annual Girls Can Do Anything! Raising Queens Conference on Saturday, October 17, 2026, bringing girls and young women together for a day centered on empowerment, connection, creativity, leadership, and possibility.

The conference will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at OVA Freedom, 31 W. 31st Street in Wilmington, Delaware.

Held in celebration of the continued mission of One Village Alliance to empower and inspire girls, Girls Can Do Anything!

A Conference Designed With Girls at the Center

At the heart of this year's conference are experiences designed specifically around the voices, interests, and experiences of girls.

Through engaging workshops, interactive activities, inspiring speakers, teen-focused sessions, a resource fair, food, and opportunities for connection, participants will have opportunities to talk, learn, play, dream, and discover.

The teen sessions are intentionally designed with teens at the center of the experience. Rather than simply talking to young people, the conference creates opportunities for girls to talk with one another—to share experiences, encourage each other, ask questions, and recognize that they are not alone in navigating the challenges and possibilities of growing up.

Because sometimes the most powerful encouragement comes from someone who can simply say, “Me too.”

Building a Village Beyond One Day

While the Girls Can Do Anything! Conference is an annual signature event, it represents just one part of the work One Village Alliance does throughout the year.

Through events, camps, workshops, mentorship opportunities, recreational activities, and other community-based programs, One Village Alliance continues to create spaces where girls can develop their voices, build relationships, explore their interests, and connect with supportive adults and peers.

The organization's guiding message—“Raising voices. Building leaders. Expression • Empowerment • Community. It takes a village — Be a part of ours.”—reflects the broader vision behind the conference.
