Foothill High School 250th Salute to Independence Performance Tour
The Foothill High School Wind Ensemble takes center stage at The Grand Opera House to launch their performance tour with an unforgettable evening of music and celebration! Join us as we honor the 250th anniversary of America’s independence with stirring patriotic favorites and powerful musical tributes. Let freedom ring through every note!
The Foothill Wind Ensemble is one of Nevada’s premier ensembles and has performed throughout the United States and Europe. The Foothill Wind Ensemble has earned Superior Ratings at the Clark County School District Advanced Band Festival for 26 consecutive years. The ensemble has commissioned and premiered several works by internationally recognized composers such as Grammy Award Winner, Eric Whitacre. The Foothill Wind Ensemble has premiered music in Las Vegas, London, Paris, and New York.
In 2014, the Foothill Wind Ensemble was joined by Marie Osmond in Carnegie Hall. The ensemble is made up of students, grades 9-12, and is conducted by Travis Pardee and Adam Steff.
