Karen Linette and her band will soon appear at THE ROOM as Karen honors the legacy of the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin. This amazing songstress from the Washington DC area has performed for thirty plus years and has graced the stages of many historic venues like the Apollo theater in NYC and the JFK Center for the Performing Arts as well as well-known jazz clubs in the U.S. and abroad. She has continued to thrill audiences with her versatility, which includes Soul, R&B, Jazz, Pop and even Hip-Hop music.
Because of her versatility, Karen is a sought-after songstress and has even performed as a lead actress in music-themed theatre productions.
She has only performed her “ARETHA” show in a few select venues. THE ROOM is honored to host her and her band for what will be a very special evening.
