The Sensory Studio: Creative Exploration

The Sensory Studio: Creative Exploration is a neurodivergent-friendly creative environment designed for exploration, regulation, and expressive making without pressure or expectation. This open studio experience offers a variety of art materials, such as clay, paint, drawing tools, collage, and tactile sensory elements… inviting children to engage in whatever way feels most comfortable for their bodies and nervous systems. Rather than following a single required project, students are offered gentle invitations and optional creative prompts alongside completely open-ended making time. Some children may choose to follow a simple guided idea, while others may prefer to experiment freely, focus on sensory engagement, or move between materials at their own pace. This class honors different communication styles, attention needs, and sensory experiences. The emphasis is not on finished artwork, but on process, comfort, and creative self-expression. Additional $10 material fee.  Ages 5-12 with caregiver.
