Meet the Author: Victoria Johnson, Glorious Country

Join us for a special talk by Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award finalist Victoria Johnson. Presented in partnership with the History Book Festival, Johnson will discuss her newest work, Glorious Country: How the Artist Frederic Church Brought the World to America and America to the World. This presentation is the perfect preview for the Transcendent: Landscapes from the Hudson River School exhibition opening October 10, 2026. A book signing will take place immediately following.

Copies of Glorious Country are available for purchase in advance for $35 at the Market at DelArt and at the event. Copies purchased with tickets will be available for pick up at the event.  

This event is presented in partnership with the Lewes History Book Festival.
