Hand Coloring Your Inkjets

Nancy Ori designed this program to expand your thinking on how to present your photographs in a new way. Nancy will talk about how to enhance your inkjet prints with watercolor, pastels, and color pencils in a step-by-step simple process. No artistic ability is necessary. You will be shown how easy and fun it is to combine these materials with your images to create one-of-a-kind mixed media pieces. Learn how to determine what type of image to choose, and then how to print it properly. The goal is to introduce you to the materials and each process so you can see which direction you might like to go with your images and interests. You will be encouraged to work creatively with a new appreciation of seeing and using color. Nancy Ori has a BA degree in Fine Arts and an MS degree in Visual Communications. She worked 25 years for Ciba-Geigy and Novartis Pharmaceuticals as their in-house corporate photographer and manager of Video and Photography Services. She is a photographer, mixed media artist, author, exhibitor, curator, and instructor. Ori is owner of NJ Media Center in Berkeley Heights, NJ where she continues to do product, portrait, and food photography. No registration required.
