Gladie at Dogfish Head

Gladie is serene, but only for a moment. Their sound often begins as a swirling dream, like paper dancing in the wind, with Augusta Koch’s voice filtering in calm, measured, and carrying words that crack at the surface of the heart. And then comes the snap: incandescent rhythms arriving like wolves at the gate, guitars and drums forming a whirling storm, widening that initial crack until it becomes an ocean. Each moment in their music feels like a memory carried on the nerves of the body, unshakable melodies that move like blood through the veins.
