Mezzo-Soprano Kaitlyn Tierney maintains an active musical career as a teacher, performer and director, and has maintained vocal studios at the University of Delaware, Rowan University, and Temple University as well as her own private studio in Philadelphia. Dr. Tierney has approached a wide variety of musical genres both as a teacher and performer. Recent credits include assistant directing a production of Massenet’s Cendrillon with Cedar Rapids Opera in Iowa, and performing Alice Beineke in Andrew Lippa’s musical rendition of The Addams Family. Other performance credits include Dinah in Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti, Dido in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Jo in Adamo’s Little Women, Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Ursule in Berlioz’s Béatrice et Bénédict, and Elizabeth Proctor in Ward’s The Crucible.

Baritone teaching artist, Brian B. Carter, has been hailed by Houston Chronicle as having “a big, commanding voice that demonstrate(s) [Carter’s] range, technique, musicality and sensitivity.” Dr. Carter has sung dozens of lead and supporting roles in opera companies throughout the United States, including Sarasota ​​​Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Austin Lyric Opera, Dicapo Opera, Opera San José, Opera Delaware, Opera North, Greensboro Opera and Opera Illinois. Favorite roles include the title roles in Rigoletto and Gianni Schicchi, George (Of Mice and Men), Ping (Turandot), Tonio (Pagliacci) and Alberich (Das Rheingold).
