Description: Capturing the Essence of Ethiopia in the Tribal south and the Christian north. Bio: Jim Zuckerman left his medical studies in 1970 to pursue his love of photography and turn it into a career. Jim specializes in wildlife, nature, and travel photography, macro work, and digital effects. His diversity in technique and style is unique in the professional arena. Jim was a contributing editor to Petersen's Photographic Magazine and Shutterbug Magazine for decades, and he is the author of 26 books on photography. His images, articles, and photo features have been published in scores of books and magazines including Time-Life books, publications of the National Geographic Society, the Economist, Omni Magazine, and Life Magazine. Jim leads photography tours to exotic destinations such as Indonesia, Ethiopia, South Africa, Kenya, Patagonia, Iceland and Brazil, plus he conducts workshops to photograph frogs and reptiles, snowy owls, carnival in Venice, and more. The meeting will open at 6:00 for a half hour of conversation. The program will begin at 6:30. Members are encouraged to attend the live program to interact with the photographer. For those who cannot attend, the recording will be available in the Members Only section of the Coastal Camera website.
