Paint Dover returns this fall for a multi-day celebration of art, history, creativity, and community in the heart of Delaware’s capital city.

Artists will paint throughout Downtown Dover, capturing its historic architecture, streetscapes, landmarks, and everyday moments. Visitors are invited to explore downtown, watch the creative process unfold, and experience the city from a fresh perspective.

Paint Dover - Through the Years

October 1–November 8, 2026

The Paint Dover exhibition at the Biggs Museum of American Art will evolve throughout the fall, bringing together artwork that celebrates Downtown Dover through the eyes of participating artists.

The exhibition will feature selected works from previous Paint Dover events, new plein air paintings created in Downtown Dover during the pre-event painting period, and—space permitting—selected artwork created during Paint Dover 2026.

Following the October 7–10 event, selected 2026 works will be added to the exhibition and may remain on display through November 8.

Artwork may be available for purchase unless otherwise marked NFS (Not For Sale).
