Drawing Class (Embodied Drawing for Self Care)

WHAT: A drawing class taught by Rebecca Howell and Vanesa Simon for survivors of stroke and caregivers.

WHERE: Central YMCA - 501 W. 11th St, Wilmington, DE 19801

WHY: Participants will use various drawing techniques to explore the connections between the mind and the body, perception, and expression. This workshop will highlight the relationship between creativity and mindfulness by providing participants with space for wellbeing that they can implement into their everyday life.  

Advance registration is required, and space is limited to keep the workshop supportive.  All materials are provided, and no artistic experience is needed!
