Friends of Lewes Library | History & Biography Book Sale

The Friends of the Lewes Public Library are hosting a History, Biography, and Collectible book sale featuring more than 3,500 books on history and politics, as well as a wide selection of biographies. Some rare and collectible books dating back to the mid-1800s will also be available for purchase. Prices start at just $4, with proceeds benefiting the library. 

History books in the sale will feature American history (including Early American, Civil War, World War I, and World War II) and biographies of significant figures in US and international history (presidents, military figures, and others). Through generous donations, the library has also amassed a collection of antiquarian books, including those of local interest, biography, and history. Pricing for antiquarian books is set at 30-65% below online reseller prices. 

Admission to the sale is free, and all are welcome. Credit cards will be accepted for purchases of $10 or more. Proceeds will be used for library book and media purchases, library programming and special projects, and other library needs.
