To commemorate the 250-year anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence as well as Rockwood’s own 50th anniversary, the museum is featuring a new contemporary art installation of five regional artists:

We the People…, asks these artists to take inspiration from Rockwood’s historic portraiture and photography collections and take over different rooms of the mansion to explore the idea of what it means to be an American today.
