Legacy of Delaware: The Paintings of Howard Schroeder (1910-1995)
Explore the artistic legacy of Delaware through this special exhibition featuring the paintings of Howard Schroeder (1910–1995). Drawn from private collections and works on loan from the Rehoboth Art League, the exhibit showcases Schroeder's celebrated depictions of Delaware's coastal landscapes, maritime scenes, and local character.
A longtime contributor to Delaware's arts community, Schroeder played a key role in establishing the Rehoboth Art League's Sketch Group and Outdoor Show. This exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to rediscover a treasured Delaware artist or experience his work for the first time.
A special reception will be held on Thursday, July 16, from 6:00–8:00 p.m., featuring members of the Schroeder family and representatives from the Rehoboth Art League.
For reception RSVPs or additional information, please contact Jennifer Cabell Kostik at 302-378-4119.
Presented by Historic Odessa Foundation.
