Delaware Symphony Orchestra — July 4th Concert in Wilmington
The Delaware Symphony Orchestra (DSO) is proud to announce its return to the Wilmington Waterfront to perform as part of the City of Wilmington’s and Delaware 250’s July 4 celebration lineup.
The DSO will headline a day of performances at Tubman-Garrett Park as part of the America 250 celebrations on Saturday, July 4.
The free-to-attend event begins at 2:00pm with music, food, vendors, and all-ages activities slated throughout the day.
The DSO concert itself begins at 7:30 p.m. and will feature patriotic favorites and orchestral showpieces by Copland, Sousa, John Williams, Shostakovich, and others — culminating with Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture and a spectacular fireworks display over the Christina River just after sundown.
