Background: The Delaware Arts Alliance, in partnership with educators, school and district leaders, teaching artists, arts and cultural organizations, community stakeholders and students, is developing a Strategic Framework for Visual and Performing Arts Education to create a shared vision and coordinated approach for strengthening arts education statewide. The framework will guide priorities and actions, particularly focused on the role of the Department of Education, that ensures all students have equitable access to high-quality arts learning experiences.

Strategic Framework for Visual & Performing Arts Education
The Delaware Arts Alliance is hosting three, small group convenings to discuss Delaware’s Strategic Framework for Visual and Performing Arts Education. We are asking for your engagement as we work to deliver a comprehensive view of visual and performing arts education as a vital and integral component of Delaware’s education system, supporting student success, workforce readiness, and the cultural vitality of the state.
Please RSVP for the one of three convening dates that work best for you:
- Wed. July 8 from 12:00-1:30PM
- Thurs. July 9 from 9:30-11:00AM
- Mon. July 13 from 3:00-4:30PM
- All meetings will take place via Zoom.
