Summer Outdoor Concert with Friction Farm
Friends of the New Castle Library present acoustic duo Friction Farm for a free outdoor concert on the lawn of the Woodlawn Library. In case of bad weather, the show will to the library meeting room.
Modern-folk duo Friction Farm, is a husband and wife team of traveling troubadours. Aidan Quinn and Christine Stay, combine storytelling, social commentary and humor to create songs of everyday life, local heroes, and quirky observations. Their lyrically rich, harmony-driven songs earned them spots as Kerrville New Folk Finalists, Falcon Ridge Emerging Artists, and South Florida Folk Festival Songwriter winners. on their latest CD, “Stone By Stone” , which reached #3 on the Folk Radio Chart, Friction Farm lives up to their name nurturing strong and beautiful songs from the creative fertile ground of a troubled world.
