This month's meeting discussion is on The Wages of Fear (Le Salaire de la Peur).
In this 1953 psychological drama set in a decrepit South American village, four men are hired to transport an urgent nitroglycerine shipment without the equipment that would make it safe. Directed by Henri-Georges Clouzot. Written by Georges Arnaud, Henri-Georges Clouzot, and Jérôme Géronimi. Starring Yves Montand, Charles Vanel, and Peter van Eyck.
