Sip and Stitch: Insulated Drink Koozie

In this hands-on class, students will learn how to sew an insulated (using Insul-Bright) fabric drink koozie with a fabric handle— perfect for keeping coffee, tea, or cold drinks comfortable to hold while helping maintain temperature. This relaxed two-hour workshop is designed for anyone with basic sewing skills. Ages 13 and up... 11 or 12 year old with adult! Students will follow a simple pattern while practicing machine stitching and learning easy construction techniques. Students can also personalize their koozie using vinyl iron-ons and simple appliqué techniques, making each project unique and gift-worthy. Students will leave with a handmade insulated drink koozie and the skills to create more at home —great for personal use or handmade gifts. Participants may bring their own sewing machine or borrow one at the studio. Additional Koozie kits are available for $3.
